Does anyone know if it's legal to fish on orton pond? That's the pond up Brunswick town park road.
There's posted signs in the water.
Was up there a week ago and caught a couple of large mouth. I did release them

Nice fish, but that can get expensive trying to figure out if it's legal after the fact.
Wouldn't posted signs tell you what you need to know?

Oh come on.... you mean you don't think posted signs IN the water, doesn't mean the same thing as no fishing ???
To me it means, no trespassing, no fishing, no hunting, no swimming.... private property keep out.
