Anyone know how the trout/bass fishing on Folsom Lake is ? Not sure if they are stocking it and the drought might have taken it's toll.

Was just there on Monday. Spent more time dodging logs than fishing. Conditions are not good for boaters until they can get a clean up crew out there to clear the debris. When it does bass fishing, trout, and salmon are all good options. A friend of mine caught a trout a couple weeks ago up the North Fork at the confluence. He also saw this cool looking creature!

They stock it frequently with Rainbows. The lake is higher now with all the rain. Cloudy. Some success trolling for trout. Bass fishing fair.

The correct spelling is Folsom.
You can check DFG plant schedule and it list all lakes in N. Cal. and throughout the state. You can filter to get specific lakes and dates.

Thanks for the info. I'm itching to get my boat in the water, but the rivers still look to dicey. Hopefully they'll open soon. I got to get this skunk off my back.

Hey TGA. I crossed the Sac river today on the way home from Tahoe and it's startin to look better.
We drove up to Tahoe last Wednesday and it was still pretty brown.
Today it looked a LITTLE cleaner and startin to get a little green color back it looked like.
Hopefully it will get into fishin shape soon.

Hey Saw. Thanks for the update. Always enjoy your pics and posts. The boat ramps here in Sactown are still closed but hopefully will open this weekend or next.
