Boating Grub Not Same after Covid

Usually when I plan on setting out my juglines usually means half the day is spent chasing bait fish or hunting Bluegills school's so I pack my cooler full of soda's, bottles of water, chunk cheese, crackers etc. But I've noticed since the COVID pandemic has affected a lot of manufacturing companies of food products, some of my goto canned foods has changed for the worst, Vienna sausage, name brand pork & bean's tastes like snot and pig vomit. Sardines many of the name brands that have been a goto in my boating food take along, since I was a teenager and were pretty good good now taste like river minnows with mustard sauce on them.

Probably just gonna pack bologna sandwiches or something from now on? the important thing is I get caught up fishing all day and sometimes being a diabetic, I forget to eat and my sugar drops cuz I'm borderline diabetic, so I need to keep a little something on my boat peanut butter crackers or something to keep me from being light-headed, just stating the facts thing's aren't as good as they use to be and cost more for the yucky newer tasting food.

Vienna sausage was beef byproducts now chicken pork and beef byproducts don’t taste as good as before. Potted meat the same way. I am diabetic also and I know what you mean. Take honey to bring sugar up. Tbsp works

I have been getting my testing supplies at Walgreens. Medicare and my insurance pay for them. I took my prescription to Walgreens in January was told it was 20 days too early. Waited 20 days was told doctor had to submit a form. I am still waiting for it to get resolved. Commication between all 3 is bad. Who do you get your supplies from? I had never had this problem before.

I have had the same problem as a diabetic. I finally gave up and now just buy my supplies outright.
