"I'm Tryin to Leave Something Behind"

Kind of interesting topic.
"I'm Tryin to Leave Something Behind" which was used in the movie "The Accountant." I really didn't understand the song nor why it was used at the end of the movie. However I was impacted with deep emotions by not the words but the singing and the guitar's presentation.
What do you want to leave behind?
Remember Good Friday. 🌴😎🌴

My wife. If she goes before me. I don't think I could handle it.

CoDen, I just pulled it up, listened, watched, and read the lyrics, and I don't have a clue WTH he's tryin' to say. But he does exhibit a lot of emotional pain. Never saw the film, but I do know the music directors make good $$'s and wonder why this one did. πŸ€”.

I’ve always planned on leaving all my Grandkids a good Gun and ammo for it. Some might get them early if they are ready for them, but the rest will have to wait. Some will be Hunting rifles or Shotguns for those that show me that is something they are interested in. The rest would be personal protection side arms. It’s how I grew up. I may not be around to protect them, but something I gave/left them would be able to stand in my place.

I was more interested in the title. But know and agree with you.

I use to have a lot of money in the bank and thousands of stocks, but my wife thought she hit the lottery and went nuts spending it, so I left an " EX " to my wife and my collection of vintage bellybutton lint
