Seems every year this happens. I can't buy a bite. I fish for largemouth in Central Georgia. The water surface temp is 90°. Due to the blistering sun and heat I switch to fishing at night. The last three times I've gone out this month I haven't had a single hit.
I fish mostly Texas rigged plastic worms but occasionally throw a spinnerbait or a crankbait. I've tried a wide range of colors but mostly black and Junebug in the worms. Black spinnerbaits, shad and bluegill crankbaits. I've fished water from four feet deep to over thirty feet deep. Lighted docks, dark docks, points. Anybody got any suggestions?
When it’s hot fish the weeds bass hate hot bright water. Use a weed less heavy jig with a trailer. Best to use 50 pound braid because you will be pulling that fish through the weeds and your going to need something stronger to land it. Google punch Jiging it works

We don't have that many weeds in the reservoirs here. And I avoid the bright water by fishing at night.
Buzz bait, Pop R. Slowmoving loud baits that will draw bass in. I live in the middle of Alabama and I have the same heat problems. I am going to wait till we get some cooler temps before I even go back at night let alone during the day. When it gets this bad from the heat they usually don't feed unless there is current moving. Getting older makes me wiser when it comes to the weather.
during the day throw your worm under a shady dock. the further back you can get it under the dock the better. fish are slow in the heat, so slow down they wont chase when its hot. I have always found when its very hot that early morning works better than evening. sun up trumps sun down.
Where in central georgia?
