Personally glad to see this--not necessarily that I agree on his guilt but for the reasons so eloquently stated by Rep. Adam Schiff...

"If we are to be a nation of laws, then we must apply the law equally and to everyone, regardless of their station. Few nations have lived up to this ideal, and our own country has often fallen far too short. But if we are to have justice, if we are to have a rule of law that is meaningful and protective of our democracy, we must hold the rich and powerful to account, even when those persons hold high office — perhaps most importantly, when they hold high office,” he said in a statement. “To do otherwise, because holding a president accountable is controversial or provocative, will not bring order, but breed disorder, and disrespect of the law.”

To quote Adam Schiff leaves everything you say afterwards a joke. If you believe his statement then why haven’t the Clintons, Obama, Kennedy’s, Biden’s been indicted. Not to mention your hero Adam Schiff for perjury.

One must be caught breaking the law to be indicted. Some like today may of never been indicted had he just shut up. This is simply just one example of him not understanding why all his colleagues and legal team telling him to zip his lips. To be 100% honest it's about time. The only US President that was Successfully Impeached twice and now Indicted on a crime he DID commit. Anyone that doesn't think he is guilty should simply read his own statements over the last decade or three.

Laws apply to all regardless of their own assumptions of entitlement that they are above the law.

Good topic thanks for sharing Papa D.

of course you can be indicted and not be guilty of anything just like you can be impeached and not be guilty of any thing. and just like the impeachment did not result in a guilty verdict in the senate this most likely will not result in a quilty verdict if it ever makes it's way to court. this is clearly a political prosecution and if anything shows there is no equal treatment under our legal system currently. sad day not for Trump he will most likely get a boost from this when the dust settles but it is a sad day for our judicial system that will take years to come back from if ever. sadly what will now happen what ever party in power will now follow the new standard and use our judicial system for political purposes,

And how Mr. DC did he get through the Impeachments? Remember? McConnel said we are not going to let this happen. His band thugs had the Majority. Pretty obvious what happened. So liars are never supposed to be able to succeed in a court of law. It is very obvious it doesn't apply to Mitch and the Good Ol Boys. It is sickening to witness what some get away with just gotta lie.

Absolutely correct DC. Others should learn the definition of indicted.
There's a reason that the federal prosecutors refused to pursue this case back in 2018 when Cohen was convicted....

simple answer the senate refused to take it up because it was without merit and that is how the process was and is designed to work the house can bring charges via impeachment and it is up to the senate to decide if it is valid and rather to proceed with a trial in this case the decision was the impeachment process in the house was without merit and just political

He has been indicted. If a trial is held l don’t believe he will be convicted. He will make more money from this. He does know how to milk his supporters.

Ah here we go again. Kids and teachers being shot up in the schools, Top secret papers found in our presidents home, trains infrastructure crumbling, boarders being over run, crime at an all time high, electric cars being shoved down our throats, and dozens more of more pressing things than a crime past is due time to prosecute.

Oh and since when does indicted mean guilty until proven innocent?

Just curious when is Hillary, H****r, and Joe get their due day in court. Oh that's right they are Democrats, law does apply there evidently.

As Hillary once said " What does it matter "

If you’re indicted it doesn’t mean you’re guilty. If a trial is held supposedly you will be found guilty or not guilty.

Well aware of that Frank, it's just that folks believe he is guilty just because he is indicted. He may be, and he may not be.

Being tried in New York going to be hard to find a partial judge or jury if that is the convicting body.

Last night on the 8pm law and order TV show, gave faith to man kind where a judge was a murderer and everything was going his way to be found not guilty. However, the jury saw through the lies by the defending lawyer and a crooked presiding judge.

Just sayin, folks need to hear all the facts before passing judgement and not just because they don't like the person. Heck i look at the character of the woman as not being the best source for her accusations.

So hopefully a loyal judge to his position and or jury will do there due diligence in upholding the law and not succumb to political pressures.

You are right. We don’t know what evidence was presented for grand jury to indict him. I was on grand jury duty here one time. All we heard was the prosecutor’s part.
