Hi All - just joined and happy to find this site. I’m an avid kayak angler - primarily bass on freshwater, but I do go for stripers 1-2x year via a charter with friends. I also do a lot of local and regional tourneys. Got into this addiction about 6 years ago.

Haven’t been out yet and wondering what water temps are lately?

I haven't been out recently, but my grandson and I were catching fish in February so I guess the water temp isn't too bad. I have seen some of the regulars out in my area and I suspect they are catching some bass and perch. I have been busy but hopefully I can get out next week.

Welcome…….I’ve been out on the small ponds in the Worcester area…..pickerel have been hitting pretty good…..also got ahold of a couple nice bass …that was this past week….water temps are rising !!

they are at 48 to 49 degrees. Surface temps may be higher because we had two days of 90 degree, bright sunny days.

Water temps at Boston Harbor and off Nantasket Beach were at 48 to 49 degrees. However, we had two 90-degree, bright sunny days so the surface temps are a couple of degrees warmer.When thatslightly warmer surface water hits the beach, who knows, flounder bite turns on?
