Buying Guns and Dynamite over the counter?

I remember going into hardware stores watching my grandpa buying dynamite, ammo and gun's as easily as you could buy building supplies or chicken feed. I get it they can't get away doing things this way nowadays, just too many people with bad intentions. The nuts in the world have made things harder for the law abiding citizens just wanting to hunt and protect our homes.

It's still easy to buy guns from individual's as I have done for year's buying second hand gun's for a fraction of the price. I like well taken care of vintage hunting rifles and shotguns. My 2nd amendment right to bear arms is important to me.

It's just as hard to make a private purchase here as it is to go to a gun shop. The same goes for selling privately.

Which states allow hunting with automatic assault rifles? None that I know of. They should be banned. No question.

Unless you have a FFL, it's illegal to OWN an AUTOMATIC WEAPON of any kind. Please do not fall for the propaganda!!!

Fred they are trying to pass a law where you can't will your firearms to anyone.
I always heard country people wax targeted less than city n urban.
Reason being most are armed n have dogs.
Is it true I don't know. Do think it's a possibility👍

Correct Fred. The terminology used by those who despise the 2A, is done purposely. The assault rifle moniker was given to the AR rifle, which stands for the manufacturer Armalite. They are not automatic and can be used for hunting and protection. And because we can. For now.

I don't think it will ever pass at the federal level Butch, but some states might already have it on the books.

Absolutely Stephen. All this BS is being brought to you by people who know nothing at all about guns.
I hope we don't wind up in the attic, but we're headed that way.

The original SEMI AUTO hunting rifles.
In calibers from 22 n up. The bigger calibers had small capacity mags. I think the biggest was 10 rds. Some states only allowed 5 rounds if I remember right.
Shotguns semi or pump are only allowed two rounds in the tube. For bird hunting.
Maybe more for small game. I haven't kept up since I quit hunting.
Full auto ownership requirements are strict. Last word was $1,000 per yr permit n FTA can check you at will.

Only difference between these n ar's are the style n the large capacity mags for the AR.

I personally don't own one. Even when the ammo was 50 cents a round that was $15.00 everytime you empty 30 rds. In a matter of seconds.

Self defense weapon of choice shotgun 👍
