Yep had 3 yr suspension on fishing license 6 month probation and forfeited his 100.000 dollar boat which didn’t matter it was won on a tournament so in other words they got slap on wrist but they both still have cases pending one for counterfeit 100 dollar bills and the other guys got a domestic violence on him so hopefully karma pays off

That sentence is NOT enough of a deterant to stop or even hesitate for them or others to cheat again !!! They needed to be made a major example of !! Stuffing lead weights has been done for years because the penalties haven't been strict enough to make the cheaters think twice !!!

They fixed that. All tournament fish will be scanned and thoroughly checked. Sounds like they're going to be stricter.

I saw on the news that these guys are going to court today. Starting about 1:30. Earlier they had plead not "gill-ty". So we'll see what the outcome will be. If charged guilty they will face jail time and who knows what else.

Lock... Those guys give me heartburn, knowing some non anglers will think of many more of us as lyin, cheating scum3@g§ too. I'm hoping they will be made examples of what BAD can happen if ya engage in that sort of thing. 🐖s.👎

This one hits really close to home. I work with the guy that ended up winning due to their disqualification.
The cheaters were winning a lot of tournaments prior to being caught and everyone was questioning it long before they actually got busted. The sentence was not nearly enough!!
