She now has a 15hp merc Bigfoot on her. She's my lake Marburg boat

My wife and I were walking around Cabelas last week and she goes and disappears again. That's not unusual, but she comes back and leads me over to the 12 fΓ²ot jonboat and says that's what I need for the little lakes. Maybe I should take her up on it.

I pulled the cover off last Wednesday. Put the forward batteries in, but didn't get to fire it up. Put it away clean so all I need is to organize and load the fishing gear and top off the gas tank.

I want to work on my fuel system before I load the boat up. Replacing the primer bulb and connector, and rebuild the carb. We're definitely later than normal this year.

Little ones are fun, but they get loaded up fast. Definitely get a trailer with it. Cartopping, and loading it up at water's edge gets old in a hurry.

It's warm enough to take a pole somewhere. New guy asked about places to fish around Hasbrouck Heights so I looked on the map. There's a nice park on the Hackensack River @30 min from here. Boat launch and fishing supposedly. Think I'll go check it out. Won't eat anything out of there but might be fun if I can catch something.
