Shad head was the bait. It was the first cat of the morning, anchored out, water temp is still a little cool for drifting (46⁰). This one went back in the lake, we like to clean the smaller ones, 15 lbs at the most. It was a great day. Last fall I pulled in a 70lb bluecat. It looked like a pig. It was almost as big around as it was long with a 44" girth. I'll send a pic.
WOW, thats amazing biggest cat I ever caught was 5 lbs and I was happy as a clam. Good way to begin the year thanks for the pics
