It is, Bob. And thanks. His recovery is a lot better than what was first anticipated. His home nurse and physical therapist are both amazed by his ability to bounce back so quickly. And so are we… 🐟on

Glad everyone is having a good day. Up at 0500 this morning, finished packing lunch in the truck and took off for the lake. Started raining g pretty hard as I drove up but I decided I was going to at least get to the ramp.
Arrived on time and had to wait a couple minutes for my fishing partner, loaded and launched the boat.id never fished from this boat, but quickly found out what 60 mph feels like on water. That's one moving boat. Got to where we planned to fish and started searching. Didn't take long to find a huge school of crappie hanging out in a submerged tree. Picked a few fish, then it started to rain. The bite flicked off like a switch. Must have been a cold front moving through because with the rain came a short period of wind and the air fly colder. We didn't quit fishing but it sure killed the catching. At least the fish were really nice sized fish, averaging around a pound each. All counted and balanced a good day.

Glad you got a few anyway Jimmy. Doesn't look like very enjoyable weather though. I don't mind rain in the summer, but its too raw for me now. Thanks for the picture.
