The 1st day of spring has come n went,
In spite of the wind, though, I got my rod bent.
Got pushed to the bank, and spun all around,
I'm happy I went and a few bass were found.
A couple were shallow, a couple were deep,
And some of em had enough length for to keep.
Tomorrow they're callin for warmth and no rain,
My bud and I'll take out our worms again.

Beautiful Pome Mike and nice fish as well. I'm jealous of your nice springtime weather. Keep them coming brother.

Thanks Fredster! Coupla days ago, you would not have been jealous. 19° is anti-fishin cold, tough on plants cold, keep the fire goin cold! ❄ We're very ready for the weather to stabilize, but in Missouri, that doesn't happen often.

Yeah it's definitely been a screwy winter buddy. We had 60°s in January and February, and now we get 20°s-40°s in March.
Just gotta keep praying for warm weather I guess. Tight Lines my friend, and keep the pomes and pix coming.
