Hi I am new to the area and looking for recommendations on good jetty’s or other spots in the area to catch surf perch. Please let me know if you know anywhere good :)
Back in the day, I like fishing at Port Hueneme Pier. You can catch perch and smelt there. Also, the jetties out at Channel Islands Harbor, off of Hollywood Beach on the beach side. The harbor side is ok, but not as good as the beach side :-) Hope that helps! And welcome to Ventura County!!! I grew up there and left in the mid 80's.
