I travel to the area of duck NC. And was wondering if anyone knows where I can go to wade and throw artificials on the sound side?

We went to pony island light house and at the back of the parking lot there is a trail that brings you out to the sound. We caught some trout and some small flounder wading there. But that was years ago.

I remember a power line that crossed over the sound and it looked like $10,000 worth of tackle hanging from it.

I’ve had good luck wading there behind the Bodie Island lighthouse. I’ve caught reds and trout north of the boat dock on the creek there and it’s pretty easy wading. In Duck check with the guys at Bob’s Tackle Shop
