Went out the other day with my son (came to visit from Idaho) and caught a bunch of these guys. Couldn't keep em off the hook, must have caught about 25, kept 4 just for good measure. Biggest one was 30"
Sounds like a Great day for you and your Son Mike. Weather looked good and the Reds fantastic. Thanks for the pics
interesting, I haven't had that problem, fried em up in butter with onion and garlic with a dash of wooster, maybe try squirtin some lime juice on them from the fruit itself not from the plastic bulb...
I put on a 3 battery charging system that charges each trolling motor (TM) battery individually off the power engine, works pretty slick so no worries about killing a battery plus these TM's don't burn up a lot of amps. I can go all day and be just fine..
Awesome. That is exactly the right way to set it up. Every time you run the main power your batteries for the TM and its GPS get recharged then you have plenty of time to be on spot lock. Driving home and hoping to remember to plug it in is not needed.
the only thing running while I'm fishing is the TM. I only use the FF for depth in the shallows then it gets turned off. The water is only several feet deep so no reason to run anything but the TM...
