Good Morning, Stagers!!!!!

Detailed Forecast
Today Sunny, with a high near 38. Wind chill values as low as -3. Breezy, with a southwest wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mp. We'll take this! It's always nice when it gets above freezing in March. Spring will be officially here tomorrow.

Marion started out good yesterday morning, but soon ran out of gas, and slept in her chair from about 10:00 am. She is very constipated from her medication. She does not have two good days in a roll. We are going to have to go down to Ft. Worth, TX. next week for our youngest son's second wedding. The trip will be very hard for her. We will spend 5 days down there so she will be able to rest a day after the flight and a day after the wedding.

Have a good one folks, and please, take care of yourself and others.

Good morning Leo and everyone. Sorry to hear Marion's not feeling well, hopefully she'll feel better by your trip..
28° and sunny here, only getting up to 39°later with a 30° wind chill. It's supposed to warm up in the next couple days, before rain at the end of the week. Have a great Sunday everybody.

Chilly outside here too. Warmjng through the week. We're still keeping vigil for you and Marion Fly.
Got a lot of spring cleanup done yesterday. All the perennials are cut back, lawn areas raked off in the front and the edging of the beds is cut. Actually ahead of schedule right now. Going to wet a line sometime during the week, it does seem to be a warming trend.

It looks a little chilly the next few mornings, but o.k. It's good to be ahead schedule at any time, Fly.

Good mornin all. Woke up in Erie this morning. The Wifey and I came for a Daycation yesterday. 25° with a Winter weather advisory here. Gonna get a bite of breakfast and head home where it should be about 36°. I'm hoping when I get home I can put a new high speed through hull water inlet for the live well. The old one went through the transom. This one goes straight through the bottom of the hull with a ball valve before the pump. Gotta keep making steps forward.. better weather will be here soon!

Have a great day folks!!

Made it back home today about 1:30 and unloaded.. went to work on the water inlet for the livewell. Holes drilled and installed without a hitch (except for the fact that I post my phone.. read: left it in the car ) going to let the sealant cure for a day or so till I connect pipes and valves.. started working motors back and forth and notice that my fuel line was getting close to kinking so I'll get a longer line tomorrow and upgrade it also. Started looking at remounting the sonar transducer and have a PVC piece glued up to mill down for a mounting block so that only 2 screws will only ever need to penetrate the hull even with adjustments, additions, or changes.. Stainless screws for all of the access plates should arrive tomorrow also.. Small steps continue.. Big improvements!!

This is the inlet I put into the new hull extension / motor bracket.. it will allow consistent water pickup while underway.

Can't wait to see the finished project Doug. That's a lot of work you've done.

I think I remember you saying that you're building a cabin as well, correct? She'll be an impressive vessel when you're done.
