Yeah I’m a young 79 at least in my mind but my body tells me different. Born in 44 and my 31 year old dad got drafted for 18 months in the navy. Married with 2 kids and a US Marshal they needed all they could get. He was fire control on a destroyer tender.

got me thinking we use to day horse pucky all the time so maybe that is where the phrase comes from never thought of that so guess I should change my guess to horse dung or horse pucky

thts how i taught my kids how to win the cow pie tossin games at picnics etc
find a good flat one- throw it high-throw it backhand
rarely lost
folks up here aint "herd" of throwin cow pie for 'sport'
