Like they say, the difference between Men and Boys is the price of their toys.

I wasn't doing too bad till I got into bass fishing.
I remember when I was content with sitting on my butt n waiting fish to bite.

Ouch…I played softball for 18 years and never paid more than $30 for a bat! Then again, my Wilson A2000 glove cost me $42 and they are now about $350.00
I retired when the $300.00 DeMarini bats came out and the line drives were flying past me at 120mph. I decided that raising my boys was more important than a pitcher of beer and a free t shirt. I still miss it, but there are so few leagues nowadays (around here, anyway), plus the new hip and shoulder remind me of the past…
I can still play catch with the Grandkids, though! More than enough for me!

I remember Brody n Clay. Had the DeMarini n other brands.
I went to a tournament with Brody one time. Bats over $500 n like you said. Gloves are expensive brother.

I use to play softball n volleyball. Luvd it. Took awhile to figure out how bad I hurt the next day.

Told Brody do it while you can boy.
I still miss all that. That's the hard part about aging. Giving up things we enjoyed to miss the pain.

Fishing doesn't hurt too bad 🤣🤣

Used to play Wallyball Griz, which is indoor volley ball in a racquet ball court. Wall usage was fair game slamming the ball off the wall. That will keep you on your toes too.

Next day you realize 40 is OLD.

😁 Last time I played volleyball at a pig roast I had fun. Rode the bike so I'm wearing jeans n riding boots.
Next morning I made it from bed to sofa. That's where I stayed.
My back was so locked it it hurt to breath. That was after I tore some muscle in my back. Never healed 100%.

Combination back brace n belly holster 👍

100% Truth right here!!! If the Wifey only knew what I've been putting into the boat, she'd be all over me like an IRS audit!!!

I'm not sure I'll have any cash left.... This has gotten WAY out of control... but WAY KEWL!~!~! It'll be bat sh!t crazy when its done!! (although no boat is ever done)

I just finished modifying the motor tie bar between the main and the kicker this evening as soon as I got home, drilled and put in the final kicker mounting bolts, embedded 3 new access panels in sealant, and ordered another box of stainless screws.. The fabricator for the Pilothouse is working on materials THIS WEEK!! I may have materials here by next week!! (Not sure how I'm gonna hide this....LOL!!)

All I can ask... Please say a few kind words at my FUNERAL!!
