Bull sharks. Honestly.
They found one as far north as Alton, Illinois (close to St Louis).
Surprised me.

Watch the hits the thread gets even after the replies slow down to a crawl and you will see more folks are getting it than one could imagine.

Thanks ๐Ÿ‘

There are a lot more sites than are showing on that map.

I found this quite interesting. If you blow-up the map, you can see where PFAS chemicals are found near you and affecting fish and wildlife.

We had PFAS located around Cannon AFB. Supposedly clean up is ongoing. Dairy nearby went out of business

What I don't understand, is that other than the Great Lakes, I can only find rivers on this map. Is there a reason for this. Surely some lakes must be contaminated as well.

Cle Elum is one of four in Washington. There was a lot of gold and mineral mining here, unknown if that is a factor.

Mining is one of the major sources of problems in PA from the coal mines. The slag was very acidic and is an ongoing problem. You also get heavy metal contamination from other types of mining.

hi jer br its a big story up here. tv/radio/papers... (show quote)

Smitty,
I never knew about all this stuff when I was younger. We still eat fish and we will continue.
Iโ€™ve lived three-quarters of a century and am not going to worry for us, but I do worry about the kids.
One has to wonder why the EPA still allows big cities to dump sewage into any body of water and not be required to clean it up and stop the practice.
Tight Lines.
