A brisk 28' at 6 am. Heading to a high of 49 with ample sunshine. Gots an appt this morning north of the river so I'm taking my pole with me for the return trip. Rumor has it the striper run is still 7-10 days away but the warm Feb may have confused em. The local catch predictions show 9-12 am is the best times for a bite so I won't be out long. Def wearing the insulated pants and a couple shirts! May be "hooking" up with fella stager for some catching time and m&g. And probly COFFEE! Hope everyone has a blessed day and returns safely! TOOMUCH, When you speak of stripper run, are you talking about white bass or the off spring of a cross between a white bass and the salt water striper, that some call striper, rock fish, hybrid striper, which grow to be big fish up t 50 plus pounds, the white bass that some call striper, averages around two pound and 18” is considered a good one,
