Stop by the bait and tackle shop on the island and ask them, they are very helpful. We fished by the bridge and off the beach by the State Park and caught whiting and sharks, but the conditions may be different to bring the pompano in?
Sand fleas can be dug from the sand and cast out with a 1-2oz sinker about 2’ up the line on a 3 way swivel.
