1st trip of year...........No Joy!

Finally got out on Lake Skinner and it was a nice day for fishing but not catching. Water still very low but coming up.
Water temp at 54*, still too low. There were about 15 boats on the lake and to my knowledge no one was catching and no bites. Think we had a lot of bored fishermen that just wanted to get out on the water. Will be waiting until end of month to try again.

Sorry you drew a blank Garey. Look at the bright side, the water's coming up, and you were out on it. I'm still jealous.

At least there's water and when the water heats up, fish on baby!!!! Better Luck next time but still nice to get on the water!

I feel your pain Bro, but like my homie from Virginia said, daylight savings time is here! In Oceanside we haven't had a lot of good fishing days this winter, including this weekend.
