Put in at daylight this morning and fished till the wind got up and beat me to death. Caught 8 Smallmouth some of them were under but I did manage to squeak out a few nice uns. Nothing over 4 today but all these were close. pulled out at 10 so not to bad a morning outing.

Yea, Jar I'm sure they're not pet fish the way they fight you can tell they don't like that hook in the mouth.

That's one good thing about Tim's there's usually somewhere to get out of the wind. I fished in 35 mph winds up here and always find a few calm spots, the lake is narrow enough the waves really don't get that big.
