I’m sure they’re snowed in and or iced over, but who can tell me when the trout season opens for the lakes north of Lake Tahoe - Donner, Prosser, Boca, etc.? Same opening for Truckee River?

Hey Jeff. The lakes you mentioned are open year round. They even ice fish on some of them you mentioned. The Truckee river however isn't open until the spring trout opener. That's usually the last Saturday in April I believe.

Most Calif lakes are open year round
