Hello everyone, I am tdburrow0. I am new to this site, as well as bass fishing. I have trout fished for many years and moved to the middle of MS. where bass are the main attraction. I do not know much about bass fishing, but I want to learn and learn as quickly as possible, so I am not the one holding an empty stringer when i go with the native kin I now have. I look forward to listening and learning.

Welcome to the Forum, I think, the best thing you can do is to enlist these new found "kin" of yours to teach you how to catch a bass. If you ask for their help, they will help and not belittle you.

Thanks to both of yall for your advice. I was baptized by one of my kin today. We caught about 50 hybrid bass all measuring 16 in. to help his friend's dad cull his lake. I had an awesome 4 hours this morning and my arms are sore from all the catching I was blessed to do.
