Found A bunch of old rods and reels on the side of the road in the trash most of them were totally trash but these two reels were in there , need a good cleaning and lubricant but they work!

Yea I remember them when I was a kid when I had One of those split cane broomstick fishing poles. There was one of them in the pile too !

My Dad had an Ocean City and I had an old Penn. Mine was on a split bamboo that I bought with birthday money when I was 11. Still have both rod and reel, honorably retired , sitting next to the fireplace 60 plus years later. Both are still fishable

Check eBay. Antique for sure. I have seen some over $100.00.The guy on eBay asked how much it was worth The answer was 150.00 in good shape. He also said don’t sale it unless you really need the money. It could be worth more.
