I remember a few years back my brother caught one from the surf in NJ. Pretty rare catch in Jersey, more sp from the surf. Made the front page picture of the report section of fisherman magazine.

Thanks everyone. It was on my bucket list. Also landed was a 50” King the mate caught on a bait rig. Nobody on the other half of the split charter wanted much of the King so we took home most of it. Thanks guys, it was delicious.

Great fish and great location I love hanging out on the jetty there good places to eat and watch the manatee
