I take my grandson there and have done pretty well. They plant the pond with really nice trout from Lassen Hatchery. They plant through the Winter months and usually stop in the spring when the water warms. Weekly plants are usually on Thursdays or Fridays. Weekends are crowded and fishing pressure is high. If you get there at the right time you will be rewarded. Good Luck!

April will be a great time to go. Fish get planted regularly. By April they'll be plenty of fish to catch
