Went out for a couple hours between rain storms, got 1 14" fat chunk I didn't get a pic of and this 18 1/2" ,, 3.83 pound Smallie. They're really fattening up for the spawn and pulling hard. Got this guy in and my phone said there was lightning in the area so I called it a day. Quick outing but better than watching TV.

Way to go brother. Wise choice bout callin it an early day when lightning is a factor. That's NOTHIN to mess around with.

That's a nice one Ivey. How warm is the water down there. It's still around 55 here

Water temp today was 54* in most of the places I looked. We've had a LOT of warm rains and it's bringing the temps up quick. it rained 3.5 inches last night here and it's pouring down now.
