Back Pain

I've been having back pain since mid December. It's been getting progressively worse. Six weeks ago I received an epidural that did nothing to help. In the past I've had two surgery's for herniated disks and I knew where this was heading. Finally today a spine surgeon saw me. Took him less than two minutes to confirm what I already knew, surgery to fix the problem. I don't know when yet but tomorrow isn't soon enough. I can barely walk anymore and I'm almost worthless at work.
I'm actually excited to have surgery. Really can't take it anymore.

I had a bad back for 1 day 60 years ago. I can still remember that pain.

So sorry to hear this Ed. I can certainly feel for you.
A few years back I was in so much pain I could barely walk 20 feet before I had to sit and catch my breath from the pain. It's a bulging disk and at that time they didn't want to do surgery. Said they couldn't guarantee that it would help any and it might make it worse.
My fishin buddy grows pot and makes his own CBD salve. I started using that along with a heat pad and PRAYED a lot.
I still have the pain but I'm able to manage it most of the time.
Will certainly keep you in prayer and hope this surgery gets rid of the pain. Steve.

Have you consulted with a pain management Dr. They were able to elevate my pain issues with radio frequency ablation. You may want to check into that, prior to surgery. JMO…

🐟onI did see a pain management Dr, same one I went to 11 years ago when I had the same problem. His epidural that time gave me some relief but I ended up having surgery. I had an epidural five weeks ago that did not help this time. Pain management doctor said I need surgery to fix this.
Today I saw the surgeon and he said surgery is the fix.
I learned some things with my first and second herneated disks. They tell you there are ways around surgery such as epidurals and physical therapy. That's bull. They make money off of that and you end up having surgery anyway to truely fix the problem.

The scheduler called me this afternoon. Surgery isn't until April 10. That's a long way off. Thanks for all your support and well wishes. I appreciate it so much.
