Made the trip to Missouri Friday left here at 11 arrived there at 4 agent showed us 4 lots none were suitable 1 tree covered 3 were covered with crushed rock then showed 1 more 1.2 acres of flat ground covered in grass asking 20,000$ think we can get it for 15 Saturday we looked at a fully refurbished 16 x 80 mobile home first thing we saw were the 21/2in holes in the vinyl siding apparently been through a hail storm couldn't imagine what the roof looked like inside nothing had been updated several soft spots in the floor the 2 year old furnace was missing and the kitchen range had been replaced by one about 50 years old pictures had shown a really nice home just another shyster back to the lake to look at 1 more lot pictures showed a half open lot turned out it was covered in trees so tomorrow will be making a offer on the 1.2 acre grass lot.
Went to a new mobile home place and after looking at a lot of expensive ones salesman finally asked what we could spend Susan told him 70,000 $ he went to his office and came back and said he had one coming that he could sell for 69,000 said it original price was 89,000 long story but if all works out should have a house to live in

Several things 1st we both have siblings in Southern Missouri 2nd wanting to find a better place to fish southeast Nebraska fishing is bad needing to downsize to a smaller house wanting to pay off loans for improvements to this house sell shop and all my tools trucks and wood working equipment and add money to our retirement fund

good luck it can take a while to find something that meets ones needs and affordable. I have to say it is hard for me to wrap my head around how much cheaper things are there out here you would be hard pressed to find a lot in the countryside for under $150,000 and a lot more in the towns.

Hard but it's time left leg keeps getting worse I fall way too often and neuropathy in my hands makes it hard to hang onto things really have to keep a tight grip on my fishing rod when I cast to keep from casting it too
