I don’t know if this is kosher, but I’ve been making lures to amuse myself in my studio (I’m an artist) and of course amuse the fish too. I decided to open a store on Etsy - The Lure Store - check it out if you have time. Here’s one if my Covid lures.

That's cute Asente. I guarantee it will work on Bluefish. LOL

If you catch a fish on it and both lines light’s up don’t eat it.

That's one way to keep them out of a landfill.

Add a skirt to that and then you have a fish getter.

I used the flip tab from a can of beer to make a lure once. It actually caught a bluefish. But then again, so did a cotton ball. A thermometer with a hook would tell ya what temps the fish are at.
I made a fly out of the fur from my dogs tail many years back. Boy did my mother get mad at me for that !🤣

Met a guy near Charleston that swore he just put aluminum foil on a hook, worked fine. Never did for me though lol I’ll try anything.

Some of those wrappers that are foil lined are tough as all get out. Thought about making streamers to add to trailing hooks.
