Hi I'm Doug,
I've lived around the world and fished around the world as well.
It's a long story. Something for a few beers and casting into a body of water.
The reason why I'm here is that my hobbies have been changing. I seen fly casting on YouTube and I had to try it. I brought a cheap rod online at a discount store. And I went to this really cool store called the international angler- drove past at least a thousand times. I Even managed to get in on their class. I still have a lot to learn. But, what I learned works. Another story for another time. Basically I'm hooked again. Wishing I lived closer to a lake. Practicing in my yard. Just makes it worse. LoL

Welcome to the Forum, Doug. PA. has a lot of super trout streams, I don't know if there are any around Pittsburg. Maybe the neighboring states? Check out the local Trout Unlimited Chapters, they will point you in the right direction and it is a great organization. Good Luck & Tight Lines!

Little town called New Castle,Pa there is a nice stream called Neshanneck Creek .. I may not have spelled it right .. but I’m close .. there are a lot of trout .. not to many people fish it .. there Is a fly fishing store in Volant,Pa
