Spinning reels

I am a fan of KastKing spinning reels (Valiant Eagle version is latest).
Just bought the 1000 Valiant Eagle.
They have high speed gear ratios 6.2:1 and both fresh water and saltwater.
I use braided line on all my reels. Casting is great and very few line tangle issues.
Been using them for about 5 years and have not found a reel to compare.
Comments. Good/Bad ...

The ruination of many is the search of something superior.

Donโ€™t have any spinning models but
I have two, both bait casting models. Mono on one and braid on the other. Great reels, high quality, great casting and smooth drag. Can hold their own compared to many high priced reels on the market! Great bang for the buck!

Welcome to the stage James. I've never had a kastking but heard good things about them here on the stage ๐Ÿ‘

Everybody has their own preferences. Personally, my favorite was the Mitchell 310x, but they donโ€™t make them anymore. I have a number of ultralight spinning reels. They all work well. Again itโ€™s personal preference.

Does anyone have a kastking rover 40?
If so, would it handle 4oz lure or weight?

I used to have Penn spinning reels from 2000 size up to 7500. With their being made in China I won't buy them anymore. Now I'm Team Daiwa, most of my reels are made in Japan.
