Hello, my name is David and I'm from Seattle. My son and I are new to fishing this year and we have been to almost every lake in the county. I'm sure everyone here has their secret holes, and I'm not looking for them. I'm here to find out the bait and lure side of fishing in Washington. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We don't have a boat ,so all our fishing is done from the bank. Thanks for your time.

Welcome to the stage David. There’s some very knowledgeable folks up your way that should be along soon. Good luck to you and your son.

Live worms works best, power bait, eggs, spinner, jigs. I fish off the bank too. Another tip: observe or talk, what the other fisherman are using. Good luck.

Welcome.
I’ve had luck with everything from corn to live worms to powerbait to eggs, jigs, spoons, and lures depending on what we’re fishing for (trout, bass, perch, salmon, flounder…).

If you would be so kind as to be a bit more specific, we might be able to help out a bit more.

Yes,what they said, worms, eggs, powerbait,if you get the chance to troll in a boat, popgear and wedding ring spinner and worms work very well
