Hi CT. I got to spend a day there with Slim n Bob this summer. Fishing wasn't great but the day out was.
Bob n I fished one day. He took his yak n I took my pond boat.
Since then I got my glastron up n running.
Marburg has a 20hp max. When the 115 popped a cylinder I found a 15hp merc Bigfoot for it.
I know it holds some decent fish. Just takes time to find them👍

Griz, what exactly do you mean? No Sir this is steering wheel. 1654 AlumaCraft.
I wasn't sure what the restrictions were down there.
I just found a crack on top of boat frame. This got me worried. I really take it easy going anywhere, this is first time I've seen this.
Got to figure a way to "Beef it up".

Gmorn CT. Picture of a sticksteer boat.
All controls are are front seat. No walking back n forth. The respond faster that a steering wheel. Steering lever just goes forward n backwards.
That crack on the stern doesn't look good brother.
A good aluminum welder should be able to plate that up for you. Good luck with it.
If you make it to the Eagle you'll get to see mine 👍

I see that Lowe boat, I should have went for that but at the time the local they had the consul on that particular boat made it not handle so good.
That AlumaCraft was set up just right for me to plain out fast and run in low water.

I was to the boat shop this morning and a guy that knows about these AlumaCraft said he would just get spot alumwelded and go from there.
Like I said I take it extremely easy when I'm on the road but I go all over the place.
I do want to get a gusset added to strengthen it.

I know I'd feel better with a plate instead of just spot welder.
A couple hard bumps could be a big problem
