Headed out to San Pablo Dam today to check out the trout fishing. Got on the water at 7am. The lake level is very high and less than 6 inches of water clarity, very muddied. Started off slow drifting mouse tails. Zero hits. Tried soaking power bait, Zero. Went back to drifting again. Off to the port side a large fish breaks the surface, big splash ! George grabs his second rod and tosses a Kastmaster into the boil. Nails this beautiful 5 lb rainbow. Only fish of the day. FYI, I would definitely wait a week or two to allow the water to clear.

Thanks for the pic Rich.
We went to the coast today and I brought 5 big Rainbow Perch back. Enough fillets for 4 different meals for me and Sue.

Nail them my friend. We put the boat away and headed to Nicks Rockaway restaurant for a late lunch. Had one of the best crab sandwiches EVER! Washed it down with a Long Board. Great brew!
