Try East end of Foster reservoir near Sunnyside park. I am told that there are bass around there. I have not caught any, probably a lack of skill.

Hey thank you very much, I have heard there are some bass in Foster, I will give it a try when the water warms up. Any logging ponds or small lakes that might have bass in sweet home area that you know about?

Do not know of any ponds, small lakes but will ask around. I know some folks who grew up in Sweet Home. There are St Louis ponds near Woodburn that have warm water fishing.

I have went for both. I will fish for anything. I like the experience of not knowing what might be on the end of the line. Plus just being out is a bonus. BTW that is quite the fish. You will have to share the story sometime.
And I agree that warmer weather will bring me out sooner.
And to ensure warmer weather am going to La Paz Mexico the first week of April for 8 days. Been trying to get some of the other guys to go but no takers yet.
Tight lines, Joe
