Did you feel it?

I'm conducting research on the New Madrid Seismic zoom. It's located Western TN, SE, MO, and NE AL, also a very small portion of E KY I've been plotting and recording information since January 2020. This year I added a category # of people reporting that they felt the quake.
Most of the quakes are extremely minor and not felt by humans. The last devastating quakes were in 1811-12 and it's long overdue.
Tne Reelfoot Lake in the NW corner of TN was created by said quake.
If anyone has ever fished there I would also love to hear about it
Thanks πŸ‘ Commander Bell out

There are a lot of lakes in California that were made from earthquakes.
And there are that they haven't sounded the bottom.
It's all very amazing to me.
Have a great day and week.

Not in that area, but I remember back in the 80's I was living in S. Carolina and we had a minor quake, no one felt it, however everyone on my bowling league got a strike at the same time.

I thought I felt an earthquake yesterday, but it turned out that I just had gas.

Reelfoot Lake formed when the Mississippi River flowed backwards during such earthquake. That’s my understanding. Lived for while in Illinois and worked with guys who had pics of piles of crappies. All nice. According to them it was nothing to catch 150+ and they had pics to prove it. Always wanted to go there, but it’s 400mi from where I live. They used guides rented boats and said guide would buy 144 minnows. You can fish without guide but stumps everywhere. Cabins available to rent. Etc. on internet.
