That would be cool Papa Jack. It's a pretty quiet area, but send a PM to Terry (Slimshady) as far as local things for the wife to do. I hope you can make it.

This trip could get interesting Fred πŸ‘

I have always wanted to attend one of these. The 26-30 would be the best for me. I am returning from a fishing trip to the UP and need a week home before I take off on another trip. However if you do pick the first week I am willing to see how understanding the wife is. Maybeif I bring her there would be enough for her to do during the day while I'm fishing

PJ, last year users ( E.pa.al and Knot so fast ) brought their wives. You could PM them both and get the wife report.

Hey MH. That's so nice. Wish I could take you up on it. This year is a real crunch year. We HAVE to get moved from Windsor to Tahoe by the end of summer. Hopefully by mid summer.

Hey Steve, you could check out New Windsor Maryland while you are here. We don't get the snow you do if that is a reason not to come.

Here's your 5 month preview kids !
We're planning the 2023 M&G at Bald Eagle State Park in Pennsylvania. Last year we did the 2nd week of June, the 6th -10th. We wound up with only 1 really nice day, with rain and wind the rest of the week. This year we're looking at the 3rd or 4th week, hopefully with better weather. Our host Slimshady (Terry) will be out of town earlier in the month, but will be home for these 2 weeks. Anyone who's interested in attending, please check your calendars, and let us know if one or the other week is better for you. Terry will again be providing boat storage and charging hookups, so bring your boat if possible.
There are a couple reasonably priced hotels in Lamar, and camping facilities and a hotel at the park. We're planning on fishing Tuesday -Thursday, with Monday and Friday being travel days.
Please check your calendars and let us know as soon as possible, what is best for you, so we can begin making reservations.
June 19-23rd or the 26-30th. I'm looking forward to meeting more of you all this year, as well as seeing our new old friends again. LOOK OUT FISH,WE'RE COMING FOR YOU !
Here's your 5 month preview kids ! br We're planni... (show quote)

Fredfish I would love to attend this event and meet some of you guys personally. Not too far for me and any set of days works for me. I'd bring the yac and a tent and a couple dozen frogs of course. Any lilly pads in this water? Just sayn'. Sounds like a great time with a great bunch of guys. Let me know if I've got the right Bald Eagle Park in mind? Just recently got a new( to me) truck and a road trip sounds wonderful.πŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²

I typically do not plan very far ahead...but I sure would enjoy participating! I am flexible enough to make any date work so I will ponder this and keep it in mind...

I realize that you will need firm commitments ASAP so that the logistics can be nailed down for folks to know what the plan is. Most likely I would camp out, and bring along a kayak.

That's awesome Andy, we'd love to have you join us. We'll let everyone know when we nail down the week. Yes that's the place, and I know there are at least some pads there. Probably not as thick as your local jungle, so maybe bring a few other baits as well as frogs. There's a bunch of launch ramps, and we have been using the 3 off of rt 150 on the North -Northeast side of the lake. Nice rig, looks ready to go. I'll keep you informed.

Yaker we would love to have you join us. You would probably take the Iron Butt award for sure. As soon as we decide which week I'll let you know. We really aren't that organized, and everyone is responsible for making their own lodging arrangements. Hotels and campgrounds are available, and we'll set the dates soon so reservations can be made. I hope you can make it.
