Have you all been getting a lot of emails about a delivery waiting for your response to verify address?

Every outfit you can name has sent me a notice that no one is home when they attempted a delivery.

Imagine that, I sit here over looking the street to the house and they must have those new driverless invisible vehicles.

mostly I get the ones where my bank account is on hold (from a bank I don't have an account with)

Fake Police support. I interrogated THEM, & they hung up. Reported phone # to State Attorney General's office, Will get around to FCC next time they call. Has been going on for about two months, they change #'s frequently, apparently buy them in blocks, and change them when they get static, or purchase short term & just drop them to keep the trail cold ? When these guys get started, they are very persistent.
My favorites though, are the $$ you "inherited" emails, just send them $1000.00 and they'll send ya back some huge amount like $ 50K. R I G H T , sure.

Billy a These might be people just phishing around to see when you're home, or not, if you're crazy enough to respond. The B & E is on the way soon. It's a lot safer and efficient for them that way. If emailed, just take a look @ their URL, & it won't match up with Fedex, UPS, or whoever they're purported to be....

Wife received an email from an offshore URL address (India) stating that we have an outstanding bill of 600 dollars for service from the Geek Squad. He wanted her to send three 200 dollar gift cards to a specific address to clear the debt. Warning lights should have gone off right then!!!.Never used the service in our life! When my wife requested a copy of the bill he gave a code to enter on her laptop She should have known better! She entered the code and he was then able to take total control of her laptop. He got all of our financial transactions and info. Had to freeze all bank accounts and create new accounts notify my retirement pension provider, Social Security and all credit card providers. It has been one major headache. I’ve been told to watch all my finances closely. The threat can last for years. Changed our email address and bought a new laptop with high grade security software. Took a hammer to the old laptop. Please be careful. They are lurking!

Hi Plumbob. I don't really know exactly where you're at on a map but we're getting the exact same delivery scam here in Oklahoma. I'm also getting hits from Walmart, Home Depot & Ace Hardware. The auto insurance scams & Medicare scams have slowed down. I feel like my privacy has been violated by those scammers. My caller ID will display a local number & the call will be someone in Cattlegap, Egypt. Tight lines.

How about my local court has ruled a settlement in my favor,I've gotten about a dozen in the last few weeks ranging from 12,000-32,000$

Best bet is like the phone. Don't recognize it don't answer it.
