that was my first reaction as well. I'm getting old but I would rather pull a frozen trout from my freezer than freezing pulling a trout from a frozen lake. but good for you and hope you catch many more and you don't freeze solid doing it

yep that's how I saw things in my younger days....but not so much now. keep it up for as long as you can but then be willing to admit your limitations and stay safe

Any target catch is really good. So you did good, but doesn't look like a 30 pounder, just a little shy of the mark.
