I agree Wulff. I can still remember as a child when I found out and I think we all are guilty of the Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny and I'm sure that I missed a few. I told my parents that they lied to me. This probably isn't in the same category as keeping your word; but, it's still a lie.

Excellent post Plum. When I first started as a Forester, a handshake was all it took to make a contract between myself and the logger. Then, over the years, corporate bean counters had to stick their untrusting nose into it and by the time I retired that same contract between myself and the same logger was 15 pages in triplicate.

Almost a tree per contract.


And for you tree huggers out there my preceding mentioning was a joke get over it.

Fraid so Butch.

Awhile back on some thread two guys told me I should put a disclaimer on some posting Troy and I were doing. They read a post and not all the postings and assumed the worse.

Got to read them all folks before opening mouth and inserting foot.
