We are finding the fishing still great in Northern Utah fishing in the local park ponds that have not frozen over yet. Most are planters that needed to be released from the hatcheries due to there sizes. Some were the old, big Brood fish.

Hard water fishing further south good also. Caught 4 fat rainbows (16" largest) last Wed and two more on Sunday. No pics.

Well done and thanks for the update! Looking for a couple of spots to try and pull in a nice rainbow or two - I filet if I can and then saute lots of things - my kid's really love it when we catch legal Rainbows then cook them up for dinner.
It's a great way to spend the day with the family.

We are using power bait and a portion of a nightcrawler with garlic Smelly Jelly. Also using a jig on with a strike indicator letting it float just under the surface. Jig it in slowly.
