I have all five Covid shots plus the flue shot and I still got Covid. I have to say my bout with it was pretty mild and that is my understanding that if you get it after receiving the vaccine it be a much milder case

that's what they say but I've known several people including myself who got it before there were vaccines and had very mild symptoms and I've know some who got it after being fully vaccinated and nearly died from it. I'm thinking vaccination status has very little to do with how sick you get, preventing you from getting it, or spreading it. but if it gives peace of mind that in itself might be worth it. they do have some good treatments now for it that helps when you catch it if needed

We sort of stopped thinking about Covid a little but it's still here and hitting people. Sorry you got it PB and sorry OJ you have those lasting effects. My wife and I seem to be part of the last few that haven't gotten it...yet.

During 2019 when the COVID thing was just being talked about, I came down with H1N2 flu and dropped dead in the bathroom, my brother performed CPR until the ambulance came to rush me to the hospital. My lips were blue, I was momentarily dead enough for my body to evacuate my bowels. I thank God for putting my brother's when they were young boys through swimming and CPR training at the YMCA

The CDC did put out guidelines last July which state vaccinated and unvaccinated people should not be treated differently. But around here unvaccinated are still treated like they are going to make everyone sick. It's irrational fear and people won't let go of it. My own Union Local 802 AFM in NYC won't let me in the building to attend meetings or do my business.

Then I'd apply for financial aid Kandy the pic is from your locals site ๐Ÿ˜Š. See what they say an go from there. If you have to get ahold of the International Union

This stuff is no joke and unless I have several complications there's nothing I can do but tuff it and medicate the system's and avoid crowds to not pass it on. Loss of taste, smell, blurry vision and muscle aches and spasms along with the constant headache. I think I'm slowly getting better and glad I got my vaccines.

Hi bye, you might want to do some serious research on the use of Ivermectin and Hydroxichlorine. Both are FDA approved drugs been around for decades fighting other diseases. My doctor who stays on top of things started noticing a lot of funny cold like symptoms in January 2020. As info came out about this Covid thing, she was in contact with other docs and since had been using both drugs on her patients for Lupus and arthritis, heard also works against Covid. She had some of the first cases in our area. All who were treated early had no issues, no hospital visits and recovered well.
There is a law in the country that if there is a drug available to treat a disease, you cannot introduce a new drug without extensive trial periods, usually 5-7 years. So if government could bad mouth the two drugs, then what do you know---the experimental drug (vaccine) could be used. Relatives of mine that got Covid and treated early had NO issues. Both of these drugs are very cheap. A year or so ago after a FOIA request was not honored, a lawsuit was filed re Fauci and his wife, also a big wig in the NIH, and what do you know---over the past ten years, the Fauch and wife received over $350 million from the drug companies. Be real cautious when the government in an almost fanatical way tells, no demands that you do something, or else. We need to use our God given common sense and view ALL information, not just what one person or agency says to believe. Recall, get the shot and never get the virus. How many people have still gotten Covid #s times or died? Talk with some of the funeral directors you might know and ask them what they have been finding during the embalming process of vaxed people. Always keep an open mind and do your own research.

Oh my God! That's horrible. Glad your brother was in the right place at the right time. Are you physically ok or are there some lasting effects? Glad you are still with us.

This Covid is no joke; but, after my first shot I had a bout with diarrhea for six months and never had another shot. Worked every day through the pandemic, except, for Saturdays and Sundays until my retirement in November 22 and never had a positive test. My wife had her first two shots and three weeks later tested positive for covid. It's been about two years since she lost her taste and is still loosing weight. God speed passerby.
