I have been hammering crappie on this lake with live scope and red head jigs with shad like and black with chartruse an 2" grubs in 22 to 40 feet on brush piles.
Excellent!!. I need to find a brush pile like that!
Our shallower lake water temp is 35 +/- .......had ice on it around Christmas, it has melted but the water is still cold.
Nice catch. I am looking forward to crossing the mountain for some good crappie fishing after the thaw.
Good to here from someone from my home town of Cambridge.
Jackson Lake is still good, I have been finding brush piles in the channel in 25+ feet of water and they are hitting metallic blue and black and chartreuse jigs. Pink or white jig heads 1/16.
