Haven’t seen too many good reports for ice fishing in Colorado. Thinking about Chatfield but not certain where to drill some holes and have some luck for rainbows or walleye. Any observations would be appreciated!

Welcome to the Stage, Shiny. Not a lot of members from CO., but the ones that we do have are good. We'll see what happens, good luck.
Hello Flyguy,
I appreciate your welcome message. I look forward to hearing back from some of the locals around the Denver area.
Hope your area is producing some good fishing.
I fished Chatfield twice now caught just walleye was using shiners had good luck but nothing over 17” which they have to be 18” to keep. Was on east side of lake just north of boat ramps. Get a fishing map of lakes look for drop offs to deeper water ( say 15’ then drops to20-25’ ) or similar ones like that.
Welcome shiny fin if ya need a fishing partner hit me up.
Man is it nice to hear from you Joeski1!
I certainly appreciate you sharing your input. I’ve fished Chatfield in the past years but need to be better at locating fish.
Just bought a Marcum and hope this will help. With your post, I’m planning on hitting Chatfield this Monday depending on these storms coming through. Thanks for the invite, let me know if you can make it.
All see if I can that sounds like fun.
