Only time I was upset the Game Warden stopped to check us was when the fish were bitin on just about every cast a couple years ago. THEN just stayed there BSing for bout 10 min.
I finally just went back to fishin and caught bout 3 more fish when Brad finally told the guys, "Hey, I gotta get back in this. We'll see ya later." They finally left.
We only caught fish for a couple more min then they were gone.
That's Striper fishin. Hot and heavy for a little bit and then it shuts off like a light switch.
Had they waited till the fish had quit bitin we could have probly landed another 20 fish or so in that 15 min.

I've only had one game warden upset me also, and I've met a lot over my lifetime. Forty plus years ago I was pulling kids on ski's and boat riding, etc. Ended up being checked by the warden and he counted six people and five life preservers. Citation. Justified. My error. In his boat was a non-uniformed guest and himself and he had what looked like a ten pound peacemaker on his hip. The only thing he had in his boat that would float was a four foot wood paddle. Not even a floating key-fob. Rather than make a citizen complaint, I just did a lot of teeth grinding and moved on. I still remember his name, but most folks knew him as the A--hole of the County!
