Ted here. I am looking to take my two adult sons pike and walleye fishing this spring. We all live in southern lower Michigan. I would appreciate any leads you would care to give. Looking for decent lake and reasonable accommodations. So much for asking for pie in the sky.

Lake Michigan is great. Just two miles to the launch. Will be out there come spring. Boys want to have some away time with the old geezer. Looking inland in lower peninsula.

I don't know how far you plan on traveling, Houghton lake is only a couple hours north has too many Pike and walleye perch and other species as well. Contact Lyman's bait shop for the lowdown of dates and they are honest in all aspects. There are several accomodations. I stay at the Super 8, it is a not overpriced and clean
